Bay City Recreation Area Photos








Bay City State Recreation Area has a mile of shoreline on the Saginaw Bay and is a popular spot for boaters to anchor offshore.
Relaxing on the beach.








The Saginaw Bay Visitor Center is near the center of the park.
A picnic area and swings.








The trailhead for the Chickadee Nature Trail is near the Saginaw Bay Visitor Center.
Cyclists like to use the paved Anderson Nature Trail.








The picnic shelter on the southeast side of the park is near the beach on Saginaw Bay.
There is also a picnic shelter located at the center of the park, east of the visitor center.








An historic marker for Saginaw Bay is located on the way to the beach.
The park has a nice playscape for the kids.








The boardwalk around the small inland lake will take you to the beach.
A hiking trail near the inland lake.








There is a wooden fishing pier on the inland lake.
