Hines Park Maps, Photos and Information
Since the early 1900's, Hines Park has been a recreational gem along Hines Drive in Wayne County. The beautiful park spans several cities in Wayne County, including Northville, Plymouth, Livonia, Westland, Garden City, and Dearborn Heights. It's comprised of 20 park segments, and the park has many soccer fields, baseball diamonds, playgrounds, picnic areas, and much more. See the maps for details on the invidual park areas.

During the warmer months, the park is buzzing with recreational soccer and baseball leagues. Around the holidays, the park glows at night with a lengthy Christmas light display.

For information about reserving picnic shelters within Hines Park, call the Wayne County Parks permit office at (734) 261-1990.

The park has a long trail that winds over 15 miles from Northville to Dearborn Heights. The trail is very popular, used for jogging, walking, and bicycling. There is a bike lane along most of Hines Drive also.

Because of the low-lying areas that comprise the park and proximity to the Rouge River, Hines Drive routinely floods during heavy rains.

The I-275 Metro Trail connects to the Hines Park Trail and uses part of the Hines Park Trail to get around the I-275/I-96 interchange.
