The eastern trailhead for the Kal-Haven Trail is on 10th Street. You need a trail pass to ride on the trail, and you can acquire a pass at the booth at the edge of the trailhead.

A paved trail can be used to go east into Kalamazoo from the 10th Street trailhead.
