The northern section of the Paul Henry Thornapple Trail has three parking areas. There is a trailhead for the Paul Henry Thornapple Trail at the Bowen Station Park that is behind the McDonald's on 44th Street. A second parking area is on the south side of 52nd Street at Stauffer. A third parking area is at Wing Avenue.

The trail angles southeast from 44th Street to Wing Avenue. At Wing Avenue, you can ride, walk or jog east on the paved trail on the north side of 60th Street to East Paris Avenue.

The southern section of the Paul Henry Trail starts 68th Street. To reach the southern part of the trail, you'll need to ride your bike along the shoulder of East Paris from 60th Street to 68th Street. The Paul Henry Trail resumes on the south side of 68th Street at East Paris and goes south to Caledonia.

The East-West Trail connects to the Paul Henry Trail north of 52nd Street. The trail goes west to Division Avenue.

The M-6 Trail can be accessed at 60th Street near Wing Street from the Paul Henry Trail.

This map also shows the park facilities at Bowen Station Park, Creekside Park, East Paris Nature Area, Paris Park, and Pinewood Park.

The southern section of the Paul Henry Thornapple Trail starts on the south side of 68th Street at East Paris. The paved trail south goes past the schools in Caledonia to the edge of downtown Caledonia.

An unfinished part of the Paul Henry Trail starts on the east side of M-37. The trail is not maintained and can be covered by grass.
