The Pere Marquette Rail Trail segment from Baldwin to west side of Reed City is gravel/dirt. The trail is used for mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling.

The Pere Marquette Rail Trail is gravel/dirt to the western edge of Reed City. It is paved through Reed City to Farwell. The trail segment ends between Clare and Farwell; the trail then restarts in Clare. The Reed City to Farwell segment is used for biking, walking, jogging, and snowmobiling. West of Reed City, the trail is used for mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling.

In downtown Reed City, the Pere Marquette Trail intersects the White Pine Trail. The trailhead parking lot in Reed City is used for both trails.

The section of the Pere Marquette Rail Trail is paved and is used for biking, walking, jogging, and snowmobiling. There are parking areas next to the trail in Farwell and Evart.

The Pere Marquette Rail Trail is paved between Clare and Midland. The segment shown on this map extends from Clare to North Bradley. There are parking areas in each of the communities along the trail.

The trail segment is very popular for walking, jogging, and biking. There is a portion of the Pere Marquette Rail Trail that has a section for horseback riding.

The Pere Marquette Rail Trail is paved between North Bradley and Midland. The trail segment is used for walking, jogging, and biking. There are several parking areas located along the trail, which are shown on the map.

Midland has a paved trail that connects to the Pere Marquette Trail and goes past Dow Diamond. The Chippewa Trail, which is also paved, links to the Pere Marquette Trail at the Tridge in downtown Midland. The trails in Midland are used for biking, walking, jogging, and roller-blading.
