Saugatuck - Holland Trails and Bike Route Map and Information
  • Saugatuck and Holland are two popular tourist destinations along Lake Michigan. You can ride, walk or jog between the two cities. It's approximately 11 miles from Saugatuck to Holland.

    Bicycling between the two cities is easy using the bike lane along 64th Street or the paved trails on the side of 62nd Street, 138th Avenue and 64th Street. When you reach the paved trail along Blue Star Highway, you'll then ride west to Saugatuck.

    Joggers and walkers can go between Saugatuck and Holland by using the paved trails along 62nd Street, 138th Avenue and 64th Street. When you reach Blue Star Highway, you can then walk or jog west on the the paved trails along Blue Star Highway and Holland Street to Saugatuck.

    About Holland

    During May, Holland's Tulip Time Festival welcomes the arrival of spring with music, entertainment, special events, and plenty of beautiful tulips. Holland State Park has a very nice beach and is a great place to watch the sunset. Holland also offers plenty of shopping and restaurants.

    About Saugatuck

    Saugatuck's downtown shopping district is full of unique stores, clothing boutiques, and art galleries. Lakefront views are plentiful around the Saugatuck area, as well as very popular beaches at Mt. Baldhead Park and Saugatuck State Park. The nearby community of Douglas offers more pleasant shopping and flavorful restaurants.
